Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K build volume and fit check
The Saturn 4 Ultra 16K is a resin printer with a 211.68 × 118.37 × 220 mm build volume. The narrow 118.37 mm Y dimension is usually the limiting axis, so long models often need a quarter turn toward the 211.68 mm side. Supports, a raft and the lift path also consume space that a simple bounding-box check cannot see.

Model-specific limits
- This is a resin process: models need supports, a raft and drain holes. A solid model that fits the envelope may still be impractical or wasteful.
- The 118.37 mm Y axis is much narrower than X. Rotate long parts before deciding that the model is too large.
- The 220 mm Z height is shared with the lift mechanism and resin level; very tall parts need a stable support plan and slower lift speeds.
What fits
The high-resolution plate is well suited to small figures and multipart miniatures. Split large figures at natural joints.
Small, detailed masters fit comfortably, but hollow them and add drain paths before exporting for supports.
The wide X axis suits dental models and small functional prototypes that need a smooth surface finish.
Orientation tips
- Place the longest model dimension along the 211.68 mm X axis; a quarter turn is often enough to fit.
- Add 5 mm of XY clearance for a raft and supports, and check the support plan rather than relying on the raw bounding box.
- Hollow thick parts, add drain holes and verify wall thickness before printing; the fit checker does not model resin drainage.
