Creality K1 build volume and fit check
The Creality K1 has a nominal 220 × 220 × 250 mm build volume. It is often confused with the larger K1 Max: the K1 is a 220 mm plate, not a 300 mm cube. The enclosed CoreXY frame and high-speed motion make it a good fit for prototypes that can tolerate fast printing, but the model still has to pass the bed dimensions first.

Model-specific limits
- This page is for the 220 × 220 × 250 mm K1. The K1 Max uses a 300 × 300 × 300 mm envelope and needs its own page.
- At high acceleration, tall thin parts can flex or detach. A dimensional fit is not a stability check.
- The enclosure traps heat, which helps ABS/ASA but can soften PLA in a hot room. Manage chamber temperature for the material.
What fits
Brackets, enclosures and test parts that fit 220 × 220 mm can use the K1's speed to shorten iteration time.
The chamber supports ABS and ASA better than an open bed-slinger. Keep large flat faces on the plate and control cooling.
A 220 mm square plate is useful for repeatable small parts; check the part envelope once and reuse the validated orientation.
Orientation tips
- Keep 5 mm of XY clearance near 220 mm; the purge line and a skirt still need space.
- Do not use K1 Max profiles or dimensions on this page; verify the machine name on the printer and in the slicer.
- For tall parts, reduce acceleration or add a brim before blaming the model's dimensions.
